Fraud Automated system that tells you your card has been used and to cancel it press a number to speak to someone. always inform your card's fraud dept when you get one of these calls, give them the details of the call including the phone number and the date/time of the call along with the number that you were contacted from so they can get it investigated.

SCAMwas phoned by this number at 1.17 pm today. it was a recorded message stating that my Amazon Prime account was about to --at this point i hung up. I rang the number, it was a gentleman who hadn't a clue what was going on and clearly, his number appears to have been taken over without his knowledge. He thanks me saying he will contact his phone provider to sort it out.

Not sure about this number - a lady called Jo has just phoned me about energy conservation and need to check my loft insulation to. I am quite concerned as a surveyor is going to ring me to make an appointment to come and inspect the insulation. Have checked the number it’s from Peterborough! Won’t be letting anyone in my house.
Rec'd a scam text from apple pay about needing to accept updated T&C. Apple do not communicate via text, the text had a clickable link, and I don't have apple pay anyway, so the scammer was never going to fool me!

SCAM This call is related to energy and initially sounds like a live person but if you don't respond it becomes clear it is pre recorded. Be very careful about responding with "Yes" or "No" answers as your voice response can sometimes be used for other potentially fraudulent purposes

It rang me multiple times within minutes but then just hangs up. when you call the number back the IVR crackles and it only gives you 2 options to speak to someone of to press 9 to remove your number from their call lists. I choose the 2nd option and then minutes later they rang me again.

I answered a call from this number and they immediately put me on hold. The womans accent was South Asian. Probably a scam. Blocked the number.

Press 1 to authorise payment or 2 to speak to an advisor Strongly suspect this is a scam. As it was a local number I tried to call it back later and got unobtainable signal. Beware.

Like other reviews I received text message at 4.28am (very strange), supposedly from Apple stating: "We've noticed a transaction that seems unusual , therefore we've had to place a hold on your wallet features. Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.
