SCAM / SPAM It's yet another disingenous automated phone line designed to make it sounds like a "real conversation" because it repsonds to a voice response. They're a bunch of ne'er do well ambulance chasing morons that when you ask where they got your number from, as they were calling my business number, they panic and hang up the phone. Tried on two occasions to get a better deal at the end of my 24 month contract, not offered anything worth staying for especially after being a customer for 10 + years. I requested PAC via online chat as others did commenting here. Very painful experience, given the hard sell from retention team and then made very awkward to extract PAC number from them. The caller says they are from the Royal Mail and that I have a package being held in Central London. They want payment to release it. The cost is minimal but felt like a scam. Asked them to send me an email. On receipt, it definitely looks like a scam. I think if postage is underpaid, you get a note to say so through the mail. I'm marking it as dangerous as my gut tells me this is a phishing attack but I can't confirm.
Phoned my mobile, said I had been in touch with them about PPI. Don't think so!
