Fuming. Automated call from some bank refund offer outfit on this number. I select the 'speak to option' so I can complain. Call centre says I opted in as I selected 'speak to'. I complain, she cuts me off.

Just had a call from this number stating I am being investigated for ‘tax fraud’ and to press 1 (to possibly drain the life out of my contract bill) obviously a scam and the voice was automated sounded like a robot.

This number IS TESCO BANK automated call request for on-line banking, it is the number they call you back on to give one-time pin access code if your computor ip address is not recognised. IT is NOT a nuisance call or any kind of dangerousor scamming call,
Indian women called saying she was from BT Technical Dept and that my internet would be disconnected in two days time. I said that having previously received these calls I had checked with BT and they do not have a technical department so could she give me more details in order for me to identify who she worked for and she then promptly hung up.
This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware.
