Have had 4 phone calls this morning. 3 went dead when picked up. 1 was answer machine message about subscription to amazon and asked me to press 1 to cancel and 2 to discuss options. I put the phone down. Has anyone else had these calls?

They had tried to contact me a number of times so I called back. I got a message saying it wasn t important and they would phone me back.

Update: Calling back gives "number unrecognised", so certainly a scam.

This is one of many numbers on a scam/spam rampage. Ive tracked the number to a street in liverpool, but i m not sure if they are using a proxy or not. I have a name of the operator and told them to take my number off ALL the numbers databases....Short to say I have been phoned a few days later, from the same office or complex. This number is blocked on my phone but they now leave voicemail. If you re notified you have voicemail but there s nor recognisable number in your Recent Calls list, it s most likely left by a blocked caller. Don t waste time or money picking up.
