This number has been calling my landline approx. 7-8 times a day for the past 5 days. I always check 0844 numbers before I answer, so I have been ignoring this once I saw the negative comments left on this site. How can I stop them calling altogether?

While I was unavailable this number called. Not at first recognising it, I was about to return the call out of courtesy. Then I checked, and realised it was the p.p.i. criminals yet again. They must be pestering thousands in this way for their own selfish gain. I will breathe a sigh of relief when they are prosecuted.

When you call number back it doesn't even ring but goes to classical music

MOT reminder! In principle that is a good idea, but I have repeat missed calls at least 2 a day, when the phone never actually rings just leaves a missed call message with the 0345 number! Missed call

Caller claims to be Talk Talk Technical Department. When prompted, she asked to speak to someone whose name could have been the previous subscriber.

Continual ringing... always hangs up to answer phone. Background noise suggests an office of some sort ( heard just as they hang up )

Can I just say that I have had a call from this number, and you all think it is due to having a quote / taking out insurance. I have never been on the website nor taken out insurance from more than so I don t think it is the actual company - don t end up cancelling insurance with them because of that.

Called me several times, insisting I had opted in. I used their website contact form to complain and to my surprise got a reply offering to tell me where they got my details, BUT for a fee of 10.00! They also said my numbers had been removed but they ve just called my mobile... They are now blocked. TPS/OFCOM/ICO are useless so long as these people can claim you have opted in. There needs to be a mechanism for checking and revoking opt-ins. Or better still make the default on all websites opt-OUT,

I didn t answer the call as I didn t recognise the number. I can see here how many times this number has been searched. This is enough for me to know not to bother answering the call.

Fed up of these calls. Phoning me every single day. Nuisance when I am in work. Must be on auto call as it goes off after about 6 to 7 rings. Wish they would stop. Should write to them really and ask them to remove my mobile no from their records.
