Had a call from this number today to say my Amazon account had been hacked and I was to pay £95. Think this is a scam

Just called the number back having received calls from them every day for I don't know how long. Somebody answered in seconds and confirmed I would be taken off of the call...
This person identifies himself as Thomas from Adobe and has called us over and over to the point of harassment. He has been told that we wont put his call through to the person he wants to speak to as they don’t want his call. He tries to intimidate his way through, then sits mimicking me down the phone line and finally he leaves the line connected so nobody else can call us. The number even though a local number (0203 655 7035) has connections to India and the guy speaking has an Indian accent.
this is alleged to be british telecom how can that be when calling from usa and speaking with an Asian dialect
called the number back. message says it was a marketing company called GFK who were calling about a survey.

Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.

Latest incarnation of persistent cold calling from this Belfast based company. This time they are trying to flog VMWare. As usual, MO involves 2-3 calls daily with no chance of removal from their lists - they say the will but never do.

Wednesday, 31 December 2014 09:01 hours. Telephone call from 01706830603. It seems they are nasty bailiff firm called Rossedales. No debts here. No message left. Rang them back, an answer message claimed that their offices were shut. Plenty of warnings about this firm.
