Phone scam call - tells you they are from BT/ Ofcom and your broadband is being hacked from someone in Mountain View California. Gets you to lookup "1p address" on google to "prove" this (which is nonsense). Then to access deskroll.com so he can remote access your computer. I led him on a bit to find out what would happen, then told him what i thought of him... so he swore at me and put the phone down! lol

Just received a call from this number from a very rude and aggressive woman who launched straight into her prepared speech regarding replacement windows. I told her I was registered with the TPS and should not be receiving these type of calls and to remove me from their database, she talked over me aggressively saying this was a marketing call not a sales call and that the TPS didn t cover it. Weird one, I got a sales call from a Liverpool number to my mobile who seemed just as confused as I was as they swore they actually dialled this number (01517060251). Have absolutely no idea which part of it is a scam. It's definitely weird. Googled the number and nothing came up.

Had a call from this number yesterday. At the other end of the phone was a robotic recorded voice allegedly calling from HMRC to say that I had carried out fraudulent activity and that a warrant would be issued for my arrest unless I pressed 1 and followed the instructions. These people need to be hunted down and hung up by their dangly bits in my opinion. Real scumbags preying on the vulnerable!
