The company is called Fresh Start and was warned about this company calling fron 0161 numbers. They re main purpose is to obtain your bank details, under no circumstances get in to a conversation with these people. they will rob you blind.

Repeated beeping when answered, called several times in a row before the number was blocked.

Called me three times at 6am - tried to call back as local Humber but it’s like someone lifted the phone up and hangs up

Caller claimed I had been in an accident - when I told her I ve never been in one in my life she went on to ask details of the accident had to hang up.

They said they were Consumer Benefits - didn't let them progress the call - asked them to take my number off and put phone down.

Foreign female voice purportedly from Talktalk regarding slow computer got a bit stroppy when her questions were not answered

Just got a call from this number. They asked for me by name and then asked me to confirm my washing machine brand. When I said I was not sure they hung up. I am sure they just want to check if the number is real before they sell it on or bombard me with other unwanted calls. They obviously did not check on the preferences list which I have contacted to make sure that these calls do not happen. Waste of time.

Originally I contacted them from a referal from my sister as they contacted her about a video games tester job which applied more to me. They called me back within 20mins which was strange and then never let up. I thought they were sketchy from the start o talking to them, again some indian guy with bad connection, and would call 3-4 times day plus sending emails about his job offer, I didnt know anything about them apart from some company name so I searched it and found this!!

Some half-understood explanation about a government survey before I cut in to say I wear registered with the TPS. They rang off.

Automated call that claims to be confirming an "Amazon Prime" renweal for £79.99, and instructs you to "Press1" if you wish to question or cancel. Just hung up, Obviously a scam call where "pressing 1" would likely connect to premium rate scam line.

I had letters and calls from Taurus which I stupidly ignored. I was taken to Court and at the hearing a hearing a gentleman advised me to discuss debt issues. He said Taurus Debt Recovery have a lot of account holders on benefits and they have a friendly and supportive team. I would encourage anyone with debts with them to talk to Taurus. If you don t contact them they will issue court claims and or issue bankruptcy.

Asian male who said he was called Eric Lawson and my windows computer had been hacked - I told him I would report this to the Police direct, but he kept on, wanted me to log on PC - no chance- asked for the company name , tel. No , reg. Company no. He gave me an address in Leicester, despite ringing from Bath! And gave me a toll free (American term) number. Hung up.....

Some Indian bloke called saying i was owed 4 thousand pounds in PPI, then a minute later he said it was 2 thousand pounds. I asked why had the amount had dropped down, to which he claimed he never said 4 thousand. The clearly tell so many lies and talk so much rubbish, they can never remember what they do say. He wanted details and when I didn t comply, he got verbally abusive. It all adds up to a complete and total farce.

Received text message claiming to be from Royal Mail as I refused to pay £2.99 with link to reschedule delivery. Did click on the link which was very stupid , ( I was expecting the parcel ) but nothing happened and no other details from me were asked . It was just a blank page. Should I be worried because I clicked on the link ? Phone number was +447519328611
