Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. This is a scam, claim to be calling from EE Promotions. Tried selling me a Iphone 15 Pro so somehow there have a phone which is not even been made yet. Didn't even ask who I was. Do not give them any information. EE provides a list of numbers on there website where there will call you from, this is not on that list.

07418356693 Phoned me at 9.10 am to advise that 2 transactions were made from my card this morning, one on my Amazone account. I don’t have an Amazone account.
This number called me. There was a bit of noise in the background, i said hello twice and then a male voice of what i would guess is south Asian descent said "do you love me?". I replied "What?" assuming i'd mis heard and he just repeated the same question so i hung up.
This is yet another number for the call centre claiming to be the housing disrepair team.

I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.

SCAM - Cryptocurrency investment romance scammer
This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.
