Received call on mobile. Shows as potential fraud number. declined the call and tried to search online for info. No joy.

Nach der Kontaktaufnahme in Whats-App schrieb die Person, dass er jetzt eine neue Telefonnummer hat, aber nicht mit mir sprechen kann. Weil es noch Probleme mit der alten SIM-Karte gibt und diese nicht vom neuen Handy gelesen werden kann. Die Person, angeblich mein Sohn, bittet um eine Geldüberweisung, weil er eine Zahlung verpasst hat. Das Geld (1989,09 ohne Währung) sollte ich am nächsten Tag zurückbekommen. Ein Fake!!!

I had a call on 1/30/2023 from 44+ 0141 628 5948 and the phone number I was a scam they was trying to see what company I was with on my sim card and they was trying to get my bank details because they said my iPhone been hacked and I need a new one and they wanted my bank details.
SPAM left an automated message saying legal proceedings are being started again me and to press 1 to find out more.
SCAM Received a text message from the number stating that: ‘ Simon attempted to deliver today your parcel but no one answered. Reschedule & track parcel at: https://local-depot-office-gb.com’ I have a ring doorbell and someone was in the house - no delivery was attempted. The text is a scam.
Whoever these people are they are persistent- 9 calls in the last couple of weeks!

02394313280 called 21 Dec 22 at 14:59hrs, no message left. Some searches list it as QA hospital Portsmouth. Some searches listed by QA employees confirm the source but not the purpose.. Might have been genuine but they'll call again if it is so?

This number is clearly a scam stating taxes are owed & legal proceedings will be started. 1. The terminology (& robotic voice) is American. 2. HMRC will never phone you. They will message you to go to your on-line account.

This number phoned me at 16.31 this afternoon. It sounded as if there was an office or similar room with people talking. When I asked who was calling, without giving my name, a lady said "good afternoon, how are you today?" I asked again who was calling. the lady said " your father" and hung up. I will be blocking this number henceforth.
Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. When I told him I don't have a policy he asked if I'd cancelled it and I told him I had and that I don't need life insurance. He immediately told me to have a good day and hung up. Supposedly from a Medical Alert company saying I may be eligible for a medicalert bracelet. He claimed they were based in Dorset and supplied all over the UK. When asked who he wanted to speak to he wasn't very forthcoming. After me asked a second time who he wanted to speak to, he hung up.
Phone rang and when answered simply went dead. Very irritating as was an early morning call.

I rarely use the home phone with my mobile being the primary contact so interested to find out who is calling.
