I checked on this site to see who they were, so when the same number rang again at 7.20pm I answered (to wind them up!). SCAM Claiming to be from BT Openreach returnign my call requesting to terminate my IP address due to inactivity. Unusual, they didnt put phone down as soon as I mentioned call prefernce sevrice, no junk calls and going to report the number.... quite a determined one. Fraud Called at 13:05 19.03.2021 stating that they were ringing from Thames Water as there is a suspected leak from the property. Wanted me to confirm the first line of my address and postcode. I said I could not talk as I was at work and that I would call back.
The new scam is they only want you to say YES they then record the questions and add the YES that you said to produce the questionair .
