I Reported this number to talktalk. , they are scammers. And got abusive when I told them police were involved.

Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.

I have downloaded a call blocker app to my smartphone... it's the best I can do... to just keep adding numbers/sms text numbers like these (I google them first) to my black...

Said "I m (muffled name) calling from (muffled) finance, how are you".
nNo one I know or have heard of so assume phishing scam.

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. From another site it's a Cardiff code and a recorded voice suggests it's an hmrc source, but number it says to ring is a 0161 No. Advice is don't ring.
