Scammer Be Wary! Came to my house for someone that does not exist. Lied and said the court gave him my address. Yet I lived here for years and never received one court letter. Automated call received this afternoon I remained quiet for a few seconds to hear the words GOODBYE! I dialed the number back *with the 141 prefix The number was not recognised Make what you will by this encounter I certainly do not trust whoever was behind this 'call'

SCAM Apparently calling from Sky technical team, said there had been Internet errors in the last 2 days and for them to rectify it I need to open my laptop and follow their instructions.... I asked the caller to verify they were from Sky and the caller went silent then hung up. Be careful people.

Just had a call from 01952 241140 - when I answered they took a few seconds to respond, suggesting a call centre. Claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted me to confirm I was the owner of this computer (I was on the phone not the computer but hey...) I confirmed it and then he asked the same question again but used my name. I confirmed it again and he hung up! Not sure what it was about but very wary.

This is a genuine Santander Fraud Department number. However I suggest you always call your bank using the number on the back of your Debit/Credit Card to check. This what I did and it was confirmed my Debit Card was being used by criminals, so needed cancelling and replacing.
