Just received a call from these people claiming to be providing access to some sort of discount club and that they would send a welcome pack in the post. They asked how many holidays I have a year and whether they are abroad or not (in hindsight maybe that’s to determine disposable income). They asked who I bank with and I refused to answer. UK Home Save - I asked for details to look them up - no address, website or business phone number ...obviously a scam

So far in the past week I have had 13 calls from these people. Thankfully I have a CPR Call Blocker fitted on my phone line, so now I don t even hear the phone ring. They do seem to be very persistent though. Hopefully they will realise soon they aren t going to get anywhere with my number and give up.

I m a student and find receiving silent calls unnerving.

I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!

This number called 5 minutes ago. Silence on the other end. I am ex directory and am always careful when ordering goods on line to either tick/untick boxes re marketing. Annoying!

Received a call from this number. It is a text messaging service used by several companies, some legit others not- my old dentist in my case.
