Almost certainly a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Block the number if you have the facility.

Repeated calls yesterday. Told to stop and then two calls so far today, one at 07:30.Said they were from the telephone preference service. What a joke!!

Received a call, but they hung up within a few seconds of me answering and without saying anything. I called the number back but the call was answered and immediately hung up.

Tried calling back, and number not recognised. They didn't leave a message.

Very pushy but convincing girl at the end of the phone - said they were calling because I had entered a competition to win a trip to New York and so was eligible for ten free lines on Euro Millions. Sounded vaguely legitimate until she started asking me for personal details - date of birth, etc... "to confirm I was over 18". Amazon prime to warm me about deduction from my bank account. I ve never had an Amazon prime a/c. Advised to press 1 to cancel, nobody answered.

Been called a couple of times from this number claiming I have money owed to me from a third party in my last crash. There was no third party involved, only myself, yet they keep on ringing and telling me this (presumably they want my bank details).
