SCAM 01614303899 called me at 08:45 left it ringing until the call screening kicked in and they hung up straight away - probably someone else answered the mass calling device that was probably doing the dialling and the called tried to engage that poor unsuspecting victim. Typical nuisance call.

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. She simply said "a grant company". I asked what their name was. She was very evasive but eventually said "Nationwide Energy." I asked what their address was but said she didn t know(!). I ordered something from Argos website a few weeks ago while doing something else at the same time, and neglected to reverse the default status on the "let us sell your number to everyone" tick box. Now I m getting 2-3 calls a day from this number. My own silly fault for swimming with sharks.
Company called my ADHD sons mobile whilst I was out and he answered loads of health questions, including his age and his address. Shouldn t be allowed. He now knows not to even answer his phone unless he knows the number. Annoyed at this.

This is a Bitcoin scam do not answer. They ring n lots of different numbers but are the same people!
The call from this number was supposedly from BT saying my landline was to be cut off. I checked with my provider who confirmed this was a scam call as none of my service is from BT. My provider has referred the number to their specialist department for investigation.

Cold call. Told the woman that she should not be calling as I subscribe to telephone pref service. This objection swept aside. Claimed to be from Microsoft and that my computer has been hacked. Became more forceful as I voiced suspicions. I ended call.
