Very cleverly the got personal details from me including my address, date of birth and national insurance number. They pretend to put you through to a solicitor whilst keeping you on hold for a while... Very well thought out criminal enterprise.. After a couple of days they confirm that you can have the money.. And arrange for a "special courier" for legal docume

I ve just recived call from this number. Man on the phone was saying he work as a Mortgage Adviser and it s connected with Halifax bank. He had my previous house address and was saying that it is address I ve got my mortgage on. I ve disconnected immediately. Don t give them any of your details!

I usually find if it stops ringing after 4 or 5 rings it s a cold caller.

Various numbers starting with 02394 have called since 29 March 2023 Conversations include: "This is not a Marketing call, blah, blah" "Survey of Loft insulation, blah,blah" "When first caller was asked where speaker was calling from, answer was "The Phillipines"(Sp ?) When subsequent callers have been asked the same question the line has 'dropped out' from the far end! Make your own decision!
