I read in the press that the STAR 9500 smartphone has been found to have a factory installed trojan virus. So I disabled my STAR 9500 and moved the sim card to an old phone. A few days later the old phone reported a missed call and a text message. The message was just this number. I didn t call it back.
Called at about 6pm on landline, hung up as I answered after about 4 rings.
Also called me up to 12 times a day from number 01253271789. As other victims have reported sometimes they put the phone down when you answer, sometimes they ask for you by name and when you answer put the phone down. Why???? what is the point? Finally once when I called them back I got to speak to a supervisor called Stuart who has promised to stop the calls - we ll see......

Had several calls from this number, answered them but nobody wanted to speak, then eventually one guy did and he explained he was calling me from The Financial services authority and he could wipe all my debt. I told him no thank you, I m not interested. He asks why? I told him I don t need to tell him why, can you please remove me from your system. He then told me to shut up!! Several times! I laughed and said yeah, alright mate! Go f*** yourself! Then he hung up! Absolute joke!

This is one of many numbers on a scam/spam rampage. Ive tracked the number to a street in liverpool, but i m not sure if they are using a proxy or not. Received several telephone calls from this number, Kilmarnock number but said they were based in Glasgow and working on behalf of trust deed Scotland, asked me about any unsecured debts I have. I have none. They said that they would take me off their system. Don t know how they got my number, but they also knew my name. Very random. And annoying.
