Fraud / Scam............... States they're from BT with alarming call that your router is faulty and that your internet line is public. Then starts to asks questions about the lights on router, who uses internet, even knew home address, at that point I hung up. I contacted BT - they do not have any such number listed in their network, also they confirmed no calls were made to line from themselves.
SCAM said was calling from Microsoft about my computer.

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.
Told me he knew me and said I needed new loft insulation when I questioned him about this statement and told him I had not long ago replaced it he replied "replaced what!" I repeated loft insulation and he said some profanity and slammed the phone down on me...stay awawy from this one is my advice!

Called about bitcoin, and said my number was associated with bitcoin purchase about 4 years ago. I did not even have this number that long ago. Sounded very shady, when I questioned what it was about they rushed to hang up saying that they would be in contact when they could prove it.
I was called by this number and after a couple of rings, the call stopped. I telephoned back and it was answered by a male person with a Liverpool accent. I asked their name and what they do for work and they said that their name was Jerry and they were a warehouse worker. I advised that they had called me but they strongly said they did not. This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.

This number rang my Mobile which is only know to a few people. I was told it was HMRC and if i didn't send some paper work i would be liable to prosecution. Told to press option one to speak to some one did so and the person on the end said something like thank you for calling !!!! didn't understand the last bit. I commented I didn't call you did, it then went quiet. I hung up. Both voices were certainly not UK English in speakers. Don't trust this phone number think it's a scam

Called asking for someone else by name. Told them they had the wrong number and I obviously didn’t sound like a woman (who they asked for). Asked who they were speaking to. Told them it was no concern of theirs who I was, but I am not the person they were after and I didn’t know anyone of that name. Could be genuine, but I don’t give my name to anyone over the phone that calls me out of the blue.

I was contacted by this number. A recorded message saying that £300 had been taken from my card for £300 to Amazon and also £1100 to another supplier I do not deal with. As usual with these calls I was asked to press different number. I immediately hung up and checked my accounts. to find nothing had been taken.
