When I asked him to confirm what the address was that he was calling about, he just ignored me and continued with his script, but when I asked again he just ended the call. Total scam call, and sorry for those who take notice of what he says.

I have been receiving calls from this number for a couple of months now. They have my full name and address. They used to ask whether I have sky but now they started asking the make of my tv. I refuse to give them any information and hung up but they keep calling back.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I received another call from this number today. The caller introduced himself as "Drew from the Energy Care Department of the Green Energy Company". He also said he was working on behalf of some governement initiative. When I asked him how he got the number, he was evasive at first but once he realised that I wasn t going to cave, he just hung up.

The number is a Manchester number but based in South Africa, which is suspicious to start with. Looking at their client list on their website, includes many PPI companies, Ambulance chasers, and other undesirables.
