My daughter received a txt from this number saying she needed to click on the link to avoid her EE account being blocked. She is with EE but luckily didn't click on it. Looks like the Russians have got her number looking at where the country of origin is for the number - a bit worrying.

Fraud The usual "Your BT internet and phone has been compromised and will be cut off in 24 hours" even though I'm not with BT. Followed up by wanting to download remote control access programmes on my laptop. I just feigned interest to leave them hanging on as long as possible; whilst they are hanging on waiting for me they aren't scamming somebody else.

Second time they have called asking for someone who has never lived here as we bought the property when built. The next time I am phoning the Police to report them for harassment.
SCAM - Claimed it was the National Crime Agency looking into fraudulant activity on my NI number, with the threat that HMRC would block it. Have checked with HMRC. It is a scam. Am assuming the phone number was faked in some way, as it's surprisingly close to my own.
I too had a message from Heather threatening me with action if I did not return call. I panicked and rang but it said number not recognised so looked it up and found this site!
This number keeps calling my phone, When you answer its all quiet then voice recording says Good Bye.

I told her I hadn’t had one and the call ended. Reported to the real Albany Assist as per the request in this thread. Interesting that if you call the number back no one answers.
