Fake claims company - advanced fee fraud.

Name of company was something or other polls. Caller had a heavy Asian accent and I think he has called many times before for different companies. Said he wanted to ask me only four questions about my use of brands but his first question was to confirm my address, at which point I hung up.

This number has called me over 100 times asking for a person by another name. They are rude to me saying that I do not know what I am talking about, they out the phone down when I say I will report them. They have phoned every day and still do - we do not answer the phone now until we know who is calling. This is a breach of our human rights. It s about time the government did something about it. Keep ringing me - saying there was unclaimed compensation money from an accident that happened within the last 3 years. Very convincing - I kept asking if this was a sales call and would I suddenly be asked to pay some charges upfront - asked a lot of questions - I remained vague (I hope). Said I would be hearing from a solicitor called John Cunningham Associates. After I had finished the call I felt very vulnerable in case I had told him something that he could use for other purposes

Seems dodgy because they pretend to be your supplier in order to get your meter readings but they do in fact work for just most if not all of the major energy suppliers and are totally legit
