SCAM:Indian sounding man asked for me by name, had my address & post code. Asked where he had got this info., and that it was all total rubbish. He said that my washing machine warranty had run out. An Indian man who allegedly would have to query my customer information due to a breakdown wanted to have my name and address. I asked which company he called exactly and he staggered. I immediately hung up and blocked the number.

This claimed to be from Hermes saying have missed delivery. However, no delivery due to me on the Hermes app, clearly a fraud as asking me to log on to a dodgy website to arrange a redelivery . Do not touch

Phoned out blue, saying following up a previous enquiry I’d made once about investments. Said not a sales call but called themselves ?BT Marketing? I’m currently looki at investments. So let the call run. Pleasant polite lady. Asked if they could pass my details onto a tech investment firm, to send me more info. I felt extra info may be useful, so gave permission. However, contact info they had for me was a very old email address. She reassured me they would not pass my details to anyone else. (We’ll see).

After looking into this more, turns out this number is linked to what is known as a locksmith scam. They will over charge and drill out your lock and damage your door instead of just lockpicking it. They are not on the MLA Approved Locksmiths. Although, if you are happy of being overcharged as hell, I am a victim of this scam, but they did come out within 15 minutes, gotta give them that.
