It was a dead call. It rang, I answered. Several seconds of silence later and the call dropped. Another site has a claim that it is a debt management company. I could not tell. Ringing and hanging up to encourage a call back seems to be on the rise. I would say that there is no reason to trust it.

Called me on landline today, 1 I only just got an actual phone plugged in yesterday 2 I don’t even know the landline number so how they got it is another matter

Answered 'phone immediately, but seller hung up. Not a clue who it was, or what it was about-I assume an automated random dialing that dropped the call, and should be reported as such. The other reports have left no comment, so I presume they had the same 'silent' treatment.

Very persistent if they don t get a response. Try to call at all times of the day,evening and weekends. Either block the number, or answer to get rid of them. If you don t the phone will keep ringing. I have a truecall unit (from www truecall. co uk) so these harrassers simply get a messsage not to call again. Shouldnt have to pay money to stop these calls though in my opinion.

This number and the following number; 07404235048 keeps phoning me (so far 5 times today) and a recorded message says that they are from BT and we have had a security breach with our phone line and broadband and that they are going to turn us off and trying to get us to press a button to respond to them. Caller said he was Virgin Media Technical Department and believed I was having trouble with my internet speed. He wanted me to do a speed test but when I said that I couldn't do that he disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never phoned me in the past. As far as I'm aware, Virgin never phone customers when there's any problem so I'm rating this call as dangerous.
