When I told him twice I was not interested he became abusive and started telling me to fuck off he had other customers waiting to make money and to stop wasting his time. Called today, 11.38...Voice said "Hi my names Chris, a local energy advisor, I hope everyone is ok"....I didn't speak and after about 10 seconds the line cuts off. Initially you think its someone there, but it isn't. It says the first recorded part, then waits for a voice to answer, at which point it plays the next part, which usually talks over you. very clever, but a scam nonetheless. Just hang up or say nothing and you are good.

I hate these people and others like them. I never press any of the numbers (eg, 5 to speak or 9 to reject) as i assume it is a computer generated call "phishing". If i were to press the 9 - opt out option, I assume would be confirming to the computer my nuber is a real live number and they would sell it on.

Recorded voice message of a well spoken elderly gentlemen saying the call was from National Crime Agency, my national insurance number is linked to multiple crimes and I should press 1 to speak to an officer immediately. Clearly a bogus call, I doubt the National Crime Agency would ring from a mobile number. No idea what they are up to but nothing legal I dare say.
