I had dealings with retail merchant services last year. Their salesman lied about contracts and fees and altered paperwork after I had signed it. It very nearly cost me £4000, luckily I threatened them with a police case for fraud and they left me alone until now and they are trying to sell me their machines again. Google retail merchant services complaints and then stay well clear.

SCAM / SPAM - Answered the call and got a ringing tone as if I had made the call. Someone with Northern accent asked me about Life Insurance, but I think it was pre-recorded. I responded, but didn't get an answer. Then it occured to me that, due to the ringing tone, they might somehow have engineered a way for me to be paying for the call so I hung up and blocked the number.

SCAM identified themselves as north star insurance claim that my elderly client has an insurance policy with them, which he had according to person on phone but was still die a final payment of £400. Not true I spoke to her son who looks after her money etc. I did an internet search of the name the gave but nothing came up. My client was very upset. Man claiming to be from Premier Telecom in Kent. It could very well be fraudulent but if genuine they certainly did not bother to check the telephone preference service register. Best course of action is to ignore all cold calls every time.

They ve called several time despite our numbers being TPS registered abd their being explicityly asked not to call us. It a pity the law doesn t provide for significant penalties. Fines and compensation of a few million pounds would soon stop them.
This was a recorded message telling me that a fraud case is being raised in my name (didn't mention my name though) and I should press 1 now to prevent a criminal case being reported to the police.
