Lady from 'Sterling' asking how a commercial office property search was going for a company I previously worked at. Think they bought the information or just found it on Linkedin - hadn't worked there in years & had never spoken with Sterling previously.
. The person who called me said she was from M$ and "your computer was sending errious....." at that point i polity said "you are a lying cucking custard and i wont let you into my computer" i think i managed to get as far as let you, when she hung up :) normaly i just kept them talking, as that means they waste their time and call cost and some one else avoids being rung for some time. but she caught me at a bad time. An eye lash has been anoying me all night and day, so i was in a no mercy mood.

No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.

DANGER ! Definitely Spam. Lady with Indian accent as O2 customer service telling me they had received multiple complaints about signal problem. I said I was satisfied with signal coverage. She then tried to give me a number to call back. I challenged her and told her I thought she not not legit. She started arguing. I said a real customer agent would not argue like that. We have been called from this number by somebody claiming to be from British Gas, about an outstanding invoice. As out invoices are regularly paid on time, this is a scam to try and get card details for payment.
