This number sent me a message claiming to be from PayPal. Asks me to follow a link to a page where I need to verify my identity to regain my account as they have limited it - I have the PayPal App and my account is not limited. DO NOT FOLLOW THE LINK AND DELETE MESSAGE!

SCAM / SPAM I was called and asked if I was interested in online stocks. When I told him twice I was not interested he became abusive and started telling me to fuck off he had other customers waiting to make money and to stop wasting his time. Don't know who called. Unable to understand strong Asian accent due to hearing problem. Hung up however they didn't ring back so, possible scam.
Started by asking for my wife. Told her she wasn't in. Then confirmed my name, said he was offering a call blocker for unrecognised calls for free. Mentioned that I paid for my phone bill by direct debit (who doesn't?) and then listed a load of banks, none of them mine. When I laughed he got annoyed and asked why. When I told him I didnt have any banks of that name, did he just want my sort code and account number, he was talking over me and telling me to listen!!! Cut him off. Be warned.
