They called advising I had not had my free pension yet. I asked where they got my name and telephone number from, she said a data base. The phone is not registered in my name and I only give a phone number to my insurance companies etc.

They're using recorded messages now to bug people because even THEY can't be bothered to to speak to people anymore, and yet WE are supposed to be interested!!! This number is an automated system stating illegal activity has been linked to your national insurance number and to press 1 otherwise you will be arrested. Clearly spam as they have a mobile number.
Called picked up by BT Call Guardian. Phone rang only once. So guess caller terminated
3/5/23 This phone number is highly risky. A man with a heavy accent who is barely audible through a crackling line purports to call 'about your computer'. When challenged that this is a scam - the caller became agitated and talked over me. I put the phone down. He called back and started shouting that I had nor right to call it a scam. I told him to get off the line or I would call the police. He said he didn't care about the police. I put the phone down. This Is a SCAM. A very distressing experience.
