Call centre, claiming to be the Technical Department @ Virgin Media, wishing to discuss my internet access. I told her my number is registered with TPS and requested that all of my details are immediately removed from their database. She hung up without confirming whether she had complied. Strangely, her telephone number seems to be a landline in Germany and she is calling a UK mobile number. As I am not a Virgin Media customer, this is most likely a scam.
They have started ringing my mobile. Also look out for 01724 637183. Legitimate Sc**thorpe numbers all start with an 8. Fed up with scam calls.

Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. SCAM - Apparently they were from Sky trying to test my broadband speed. Notwithstanding I am not with Sky, I asked them to tell me my own name and postcode and they hung up. How rude! I assume the next step would be to access my computer to 'fix' the issue.
These people are actually the TV Licensing debt department don t be fooled by them. tell them you don t watch live TV also tell them not to be sending anyone to your door.

Answered and guy started to talk (I think) with a lot of people chatting in the background. Then phone went dead. I have now programmed my new Panasonic phones to block this number in the future. What a good investment they were.

This is a fake company called MPV Alterations Ltd. They don't exist and they are selling cars on ebay, other places and they have a website. They're a scam company. They don't have cars and they want your payment in full before purchase. Do not use and avoid otherwise you will lose your money. The company does not exist and the address does not exist.
