It s quite easy to negate these types of calls by getting yourself a Call Line Identity phone. If the call doesn t display the name of someone in your tel address book, or shows number withheld, or out of area, or International let the answer machine do the work. You can then block the number or use phone settings to set your preferences - problem solved...

Cold call claiming to be from Microsoft, to "Clear errors from my software" I didn t do it, and have since checked a forum saying it s a common scam.

Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. I m also from Denmark. They ve called me multiple times this morning. Obvious scammers, now they re pushing this "hawkingcode" shit. Sending the cops around might be an idea.
