The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Automated scammer saying they were from visa
Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.

Advice to anyone receiving sh*t like this: If you're really concerned it might be genuine, just phone your bank using the number on the back of your debit card. Then! Google Kitboga, ScammerRevolts, Jim Browning, etc. They'll tell you everything you need to know and more! Jeez, I really hate these scammers. Utter parasites. Lower than a snakes belly.

Asked for me by name and said they were from Legal & General in regards to my life insurance policy and a possible reduction due to COVID. As soon as I said are you sure since I know I don't have a policy with them they just hung up.
