Weird phone call. Called me up on Skype and all you you hear is a voice saying "please hold the line". Call the number back and it instantly gives you the error tone.

Unsolicited call. Silent for 5 seconds then a robotic Goodbye and they hung up.

Internet scam call. Just hang up.
nBeing bombarded with these today - 5 so far all from different numbers.

Had numerous calls from 01618263541 and very similar numbers despite being signed up for TPS. Not answered any of them and added 01618263* to my true call unit s blocking list so no more can get through.

These people have conned my mum into signing for £3844 for a adjustable bed. Knocked£1000. Off for discount and took a deposit of £695 from her. I will be trying to stop this tomorrow. Watch this space. She is nearly 80 and preyed on by a woman. Disgraceful.

Real dodgy call, trying to give impression of a law enforcement of traders and wanted payment on a list they compile saying you are trusted while suggestions anyone not on it will be branded as a bad trade. Expression they used was before we start naming and shaming.

The criminals started early today, making this call om an invented number at just after 8 a.m. Nobody spoke but they did not have to. Responding to these calls - which of late have consisted of recorded messages saying ny broadband is going to be disconnected - would be dangerous.

Don t answer. Trying to get access to your home to carry out unsolicited Energy Survey. Makes false claims about energy prices doubling. No company name given. Please avoid.

They often call and then ring off as I answer. When they do talk to me it concerns a car accident that I have not been involved in!

Phone rang at approx 7.30pm Sat 25 Oct 2014. Answered and said "Hello". An Asian woman asked for me by name, but there was a lot of noise in the background so immediately made me think that this was wrong. If it was a reputable company (who should still be not allowed to make cold calls) it would be silent. I didn t confirm my name but asked who the company was. On behalf of vanquis calls 3-4 times daily told vanquis no calls from other companies and ignored. Tough luck on them put them on my blocked list can ring all day I wont hear it and they wont get through
