Called me at 23:30 !! I thought it was bad news about my elderly father!! But it was some bright idiot saying he was IT Support and his records showed I was available until 01:00 ... total rubbish. Ignore this idiot
PRUK some sort of collection agency they called and answered but they hung up called back but no answer
Has left me several voicemail including one pretending to be police at 4am and has text saying I have frauded their bank. Not sure what they are up to but blocked the number.

Paypal scam - posing as a Gumtree buyer . He/she will reply to anything you have for sale on gumtree. They send you a text but then ask you to reply to a moody email address. The one they gave me was [email?protected] and the number they used was +44 141 280 7229. Clearly foreign (poor use of English) and also clearly retarded - lack of understanding of gramma and spelling. Stay well away.

Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. My advice, which works a treat: tell all your real contacts to call you for the first 4 or 5 beeps, then to put the phone down.
