I just received a call from this number, 07900787794 automated call saying my national insurance number has been compromised. I am presuming this is a scam. I just hung up and blocked. If it was a real number they would have left a message.

No idea tbh, the Google map location says “North Devon Valeting” I assume they have gone bust due to the covid scam and been taken over by a call centre/scammer. I have been getting calls four or more times a day from mobile and landlines for weeks, so I no longer pick up any calls that are not in my contacts. Guessing I’ve somehow made it onto a calling list. Shame, as I’ve had my number over 20 years without needing to change it. I’ve marked this as a scam as I don’t know any company or person from Bude.

When answered, caller said that they just want to ask me four quick household questions. They did say their company name, but I didn t catch it. I replied "no thank you" and I hung up.

I have told friends and family to leave a message and I will pick-up the phone as soon as I recognise the caller or the reason for the call or I will call back. Scam call for Open Reach. Simply tell them how many appliances you have connected to their network. Then go to your computer as instructed and let them in - job done. Better still, why not give them your bank details along with a few pass codes and make life easy for these scammers.
SCAM. Called saying that they were going to discount my internet due to illegal activity unless I I pressed 1 to talk to an advisor, just put the phone down. I have had this same cal at least 4 times in the past week.
