British Gas, rude person demanding I pay outstanding bill

012 5555 4810 rings me regularly and keeps hanging up, they don’t leave a voicemail either. I no longer answer the landline phone, I wait till calls go into voicemail. I have told friends and family to leave a message and I will pick-up the phone as soon as I recognise the caller or the reason for the call or I will call back. After what can only be described as border line bullying I went to speak to one of there "qualified" advisors. Turned out it was some wise boy who tried to make me spend more than I was already paying for less cover. Complete waste of time I d avoid using them at all costs.

Keep getting calls from 0121 numbers.

This was someone pretending to want to renew insurance on the washing machine that they claimed was in my wife's name.

Tried to tell me I d been reported in a Road Traffic Accident. Absolute crap! I hung up on them.

Telling me I'm due PPI compensation when I'm not. Phishing.

Reports on other sites suggest it s a survey / data collection company, possibly called "I love my offers".
