When I asked him to confirm what the address was that he was calling about, he just ignored me and continued with his script, but when I asked again he just ended the call. Total scam call, and sorry for those who take notice of what he says.

In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with O2 - offering mobile tarrifs, Gas and Electric bill, but also charity for deaf child fund raising - but in fact just another call centre...

I would urge anyone who has a Talktalk package to make a note of this number. The 0870 number they give you is to a foreign call centre. I have made a complaint to them and demanded a UK number to call, and this is it.
