Fraud 01224928396 @ 14.20. called my wife to say an order of an Iphone13 was placed at 8am this morning, when i said we were asleep at the time, she said in her "foreign accent", that we would be billed for it, when i asked if they had my card details, she said yes, so I asked her to read out which card, she then hung up on me. when trying to dial back the number, it doesn't connect, DEFINATELY a scammer.. I was interrupted by the same people calling again with their recorded message, telling me someone was waiting to speak to me. They can carry on waiting. After identifying this as another nuisance call - the second today - I hung up.

In this type of scam, the sender, generally through an email, requests help in facilitating the transfer of a substantial sum of money. In return, the sender offers a commission, usually in the range of several million dollars. The scammers then request that money be sent to pay for some of the costs associated with the transfer. Once money is sent to the scammers, they will either disappear immediately or try to get more money with claims of continued problems with the transfer.
Claimed to be Barclaycard saying suspicious activity on my card and to press 1 to cancel the payment. Checked my account and this was not true. Spam call.
