I was called from this number today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message on my answering machine. The number that appeared initially on my telephone was not the same as this one. This is clearly a scam.
Some scam I’m presuming. Recorded message to say I was being investigated for tax fraud and an arrest warrant had been issued to press 1 for more information...I hung up

SCAM Some "Learning centre" Indian gentleman talking super fast so you can't understand everything he's saying. Hung up after I asked how he got my number as I'm on TPS. He hung up. I phoned back only to get an answer from someone in Manchester just answering "Hellow" + saying they never use their landline. ?? Are scammers crossing lines somehow ???

Scammers claiming to be from HMRC, An automated message will say you are being investigated and that if you do not press 1 to speak to us a warrant will be issued for your arrest. As a registered agent myself I had some fun with them but do not give any personal details out as they are not HMRC.

Had a call from this number today firstly on my mobile which I managed to reject. It immediately then rang my landline which I didn t answer. Who are these people and how did they get my mobile number? When you ring the number back they don t identify themselves and ask you to leave a message. Sounds very dodgy so be aware.

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. A recorded call to my mobile informed me of my tax fraud and asked me to press 1 to speak to an HMRC officer. Failure to press 1 would result in an immediate issue of a warrant and my arrest today. The bot then hung up, didn't even say "Is there anything else I can help you with?" Rude little bot!
