This is Barclaycard fraud prevention number. I received the call today from this number and the automated voice mentioned my full name and the month and year of birth. After confirming this information by pressing number 1 on the keypad the IVR informed me that my card with numbers ending with XXXX has been compromised and a replacement will be issued. The call ended with the option to speak to an adviser.

Tesco Bank customer service. called back and automated message stated nothing urgent and they would call me back if required.

This number called 6 times in less than 2 hours. Did not know number so didn t answer. When I phoned the number back, somebody answered with just "Hello", did not announce company name but lot of background noise. Definitely some sort of scam.

She said she would not disclose any further do I terminated the call. I later checked here and found the number is linked to the hospital. Not at all happy how the lady and nhs vonducted this cold call.
