Had a missed call on my mobile from this number. I don't know anyone in Ellon, Aberdeenshire, but a little research shows that 'virtual' telephone numbers for this exchange are issued by a company called VirtuTel so overseas call centres and marketing agents appear to have a legitimate 'presence' in the UK
They have called me 3 times, offering me a free van service as an introductory offer. When i asked them what is the cost of the service after my free first service, they hang up. SCAM stay away

I am getting totally fed up of unknown callers. I have blocked this call already and they appear to be so arrogant and persistent that they do not get the hint that I do not want to speak to them. I just wish they would stop harassing me
SCAM - I had the same call (01970607650 - 11/5/2022, 14:36) as several people before me, medical alert company, entitled to an alert pendant, wanting to ask me questions. I said wait, I wanted to ask him questions, where was he calling from, um...Dorset, then he started his spiel again. So I asked where he got my name from and why he thought I was entitled to a medical pendant, and he hung up. BE VERY CAREFUL - THIS GUY IS PREYING ON VULNERABLE PEOPLE!!!

It is a company that is hired by a number of charities or companies that ask for donations. On this site people have been asked for breast cancer and kings college. For me it was for the samaratins and they called because I made a donation in the last year. I was not bothered by them...I am happy to donate to charity.
