They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Thieves claiming to be from microsoft. If you do what they ask they will steal all your passwords and account details, raid your bank account , paypall account etc. Don t let them, keep the buggers talking as long as you can but do not do what they ask.

This came up as a Birmingham number. I didn’t answer, I never do. They didn’t leave a message so how important could it be. Probably marketing or maybe a scam.

Since getting new sim this number has called at least twice a day every day including sundays. Glad I ignored it as the first few calls only my children had my number so it was not anyone or business I knew. Cannot belive they can do this for over 2 months everyday when ddo they get the message. Now blocked the number so no more annoying calls at work
