Then I received a call from this number about 20 minutes later but there was silence. Hung up immediately. Others have reported this number also has a recorded message about BT's technical dept.

The challenge is how long can you keep these people on the phone - 10 minutes is my record. Calling about my car accident, apparentlty refereed by my insurance compny but then they don t know who my insurer is, eventually I asked for their address --- Caller didn t know postcode and then hung up. The address I got was AMS, Oldham Road, east sussex, Manchester. no id3ea if this is true but it is a Manchester dialling code.
