Seemingly not legitimate. Called three times about after a very low single figure normal transaction also texted more than once. Transaction approved. Tread very carefully. This number may have been hijacked.
Keep ringing me - saying there was unclaimed compensation money from an accident that happened within the last 3 years. Very convincing - I kept asking if this was a sales call and would I suddenly be asked to pay some charges upfront - asked a lot of questions - I remained vague (I hope). Said I would be hearing from a solicitor called John Cunningham Associates. After I had finished the call I felt very vulnerable in case I had told him something that he could use for other purposes

SCAM Stated he were from Sky Broadband and there was lots of attacks and issues on my broadband connection over the last few days and therefore I needed to sort it out with him without delay and he needed me to verify my security details to continue. Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation. The lady basically said that my fibre-glass wool loft insulation is no longer valid and they in my area tomorrow doing surveys in the neighbouring roads. I said that I was in the property business and I have not heard of this and I would need to look into it. And guess what he phone went dead. How rude, not even a goodbye.

This number was on a scam letter supposedly from HSBC. It is an automated message asking for your 16 digit card no. Then states it is invalid and asks for sort code. Hung up.
