Picked up yet another call from this number, just to get a shrieking tone in my ear.

Called 3 times today and no-one speaks. Annoying to say the least. I usually get calls with a number from India if it's Talk Talk.

Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Suspicious, also nasty if it is a scam, as I am now worried about whether or not the police are trying to contact me for genuine reasons. They have rang me several times asking about life insurance. My view is that if you have enquired previously about what they are trying to sell then fair enough. But if it us completely random then dont trust them.

This caller wanted to claim back my PPI. He said they took 30% plus VAT with a no gain no fee guarantee. He started to ask questions that I will never discuss on the phone so I was immediately suspicious.

you answer the call and u get a voice mail saying "you were called today by one of our market research etc etc"
