I recently registered a domain with 1&1 (who are pretty awful in their own shoddy way) and I’m not surprised I’m getting calls from this number after reading the comments here. Rang late in the evening and hung up.

Pretending to be from Amazon and saying that I had a £900 transaction taken from my Amazon account and wanted me to follow their instructions and put a code in my phone I told him to call me back in 10 minutes as my daughter would be speak to him and she works with the police he hung up. I did know it was a scam that’s why I said it. I just feel sorry for the people that they do trap as they are scum. If you don’t No them hang up. And don’t give them any of your details.

SPAM British sounding lady asked for a Mr Upshaw / Offshaw. As soon as I said there was nobody here of that name, they hung up. Didn't announce who they were or what they wanted.
