Very pushy but convincing girl at the end of the phone - said they were calling because I had entered a competition to win a trip to New York and so was eligible for ten free lines on Euro Millions. Sounded vaguely legitimate until she started asking me for personal details - date of birth, etc... "to confirm I was over 18". New numbers like this all the time but: If you have caller ID, get a phone with "night mode" where it only rings for numbers in the stored phone memory.

Asked if he could speak to me ( not put my name ) l just said No very dubious about committing myself over the phone.
