A young Welshman phoned my mobile today. After an unusual and suspicious delay ("Hello? Hello? HELLO?") he introduced himself as representing Winchester and Deakin and said that the call concerned my credit or some such nonsense. I have stopped answering these suspicious calls for the time being - too busy. As with the one I received at the same time yesterday, when I was having breakfast, I concluded the caller was another criminal trying to persuade me to give them access to my computer so they could infect it. That is because the majority of the calls I get are of that nature. The likelihood was all the greater because, like yesterday s call, it was purportedly from an area where I do not know anyone.

I answered this call and the lady on the other end said she was calling from OVO Energy, as it appeared as a mobile number I didn t trust or believe her and ended the call!!!! I ve now blocked the number!!!!
