Currently in Thailand this number is pestering us and spoiling our holiday calling up to six times per day including silly hours such as 3 am We have no business with British Gas, never had anything to do with them. It must be a scam

SCAM claiming to be government help line housing repairs. Scam is to get Yr correct information name dob.. address and ask u for the 2 letter and 2nd 4th letter of your national insurance number then they say it does NOT match put u in fear that if u don't confirm correct details BTW now with NI BUT with 1st letter, 1st 3rd and last letter of NI. Convincing u if it was a scam why hv they not asked for bank details Ah so they can open account with Yr now given credentials.

I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. Yes this is HSBC. I have an account with them and this was my LOCAL branch calling to make sure I was aware of changes and to ensure I was using the acc correctly. Very pleasant lady and took 5mins of my time. No problem to report.

Fake ebay buyer protection. Got an email saying I had purchased an ebay item for £1699.00. I hadnt. This number was in the email pretending to be ebay buyer protection. SCAM - AVOID
SImilar number to other scam calls had recently where they say they are an energy company-capitlising on the recent news. Said he was an energy something in my area. Yeah right. Like Bournemouth is my area. Guy didnt even stutter when I answered the call as Sperm Bank. Said no thanks and hung up immediately. Blocked the number.
