SCAM Initially silent, then asked me if it's me on the phone (he knew my name) and then said he's calling from a loan company. When I started asking questions, he hang up.
No person speaking at other end. Annoying. Probably trying to verify that a land line is in use. Suspected spam.
SPAM Tried to tell me I was about to be cutoff from BT phone and internet due to suspicious activity. Repeated calls several times.

Been called by 0113 419 9990 numerous times over the past 3 days. I answered the call today to be told it s about my pension - and they could see its frozen. The lady was called Becky (thats if they use their real names) who wanted details of my pension, which I wouldnt give, she tried to convince me there was nothing wrong but I said how did know who she was, I said I would leave it and deal with it myself - she hung up!! So much for trying to convince me she was genuine. These scams are really getting out

I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. 100% FRAUD! They left me a voicemail, quoting a DHL import duty invoice that I paid 3 weeks ago. I called them, spoke to 'RAJU' - he knew all about me, my company and my invoice, but said don't worry as you've already paid. This is obviously someone at DHL leaking account details to fraudsters, who are preying on people who don't know/remember that they've already paid. Had the very same thing on this number 016188182004. Indian accent from a call centre, passed on to "manager". Told them them I knew what they were up to and that they were ringing from India. Don t give them any information and put the phone down.
Looks like a fake message in the name of the Total Heat UK Ltd asking about which is the best time for you for a Gas safety check BUT the number is actually belong to the Victoria Beauty shop. And they can't even spell the agencies names as they mentioned in the beginning of the message.
